This is a view along the main street in York Beach. The building on the right is now Shelton's. It used to be known as the Kearsage Hotel. Past Shelton's is probably the most famous building in town, the Goldenrod. There is usually a salt water taffy machine cranking out almost 3 pieces of candy per second. There is almost always a crowd looking on. This has been happening for generations, and many people have met, fallen in love, married, and returned with their kids back in front of these windows...
