If you like toy crystal radios, this little Japanese pincushion set made by Current is a must-have for your collection. The set shown above was found complete with box and instructions. The box is a colorful yellow, red and black with wording on the side that states "Gelma-radio with pincushion, thimble and measure." There is indeed a functional velveteen-covered pincushion, a little gold thimble that snaps on and off the case, and a tape measure that pulls out from the base of the unit. The instruction sheet lists the following features: "Pocketable size, no battery & no electricity, semi-permanent life, trouble-free, no disturbance to others, private enjoyment, Hi Fi tone quality, simple tuning."
