Using this CD-ROM.
This CD-ROM
is organized very much like the original books, but with several additional
features. When you are at the introduction, you can navigate to the Index
of Manufacturers, and from there to the listings of models made by each
manufacturer. For any model you see with a thumbnail picture, you may click
on it, and go to a detail page for that radio. There are over 1800 detail
pages!
In addition, there is a Master Model Index, which shows all model numbers of these radios, regardless of Manufacturer. This will allow you to find any radio with that model number on the CD-ROM. If there is a photo of the model, you will be taken to the detail page for that radio. Otherwise, you will go to the model on the Manufacturer page.
In addition, if you do not know either, there is a Master Photo Index. This index is simply every thumbnail photo on the CD-ROM, organized by model type (Floor, Table, Portable), and then by model number. Simply look at the page, and click on any picture to see the detail page for that radio. Some of these pages will load slowly, as there are up to 300 photographs on each page!
